Emmitt Smith announced to @cowboysfansite on twitter exclusively that Jerry Jones was his choice to present him for induction to the Hall of Fame. I was on Twitter and @EmmittSmith22 was teasing his "Tweeps" asking us to guess who was going to present him. and this is how it went down:
" @EmmittSmith22 bingo! I asked Mr Jones & he accepted" RT @cowboysfansite: @EmmittSmith22 so it is @JerryJonesCEO?
I think it is great that Emmitt Smith chose to cut out the middle man and give his answer straight to the Fans! Cowboysfansite is honored to be the one to break the news. Emmitt Smith is a True Legend. Don't forget to watch Emmitt Smith on NBC on a reality show called "Who Do You Think You Are?” March 12. check your local listings

Jerry's face tells it all. 1:52 left in the game and he is between Garett and Phillips. It is time to re-evaluate the season and as disspointing as it was, we need to put things in perspective. Simply put, the best season in 14 years. The script got "flipped". When I read my post and prediction for the Vikings game what I said about Favre, really happened to Romo. He could not get anything going the whole game. The 'O' line really struggled and once Flozell Adams left and Deware got hurt again they never recovered and the 'rout was on.
The team is young and they are going in the right direction. When Dallas won back to back Superbowls in the 90's that team went through allot of the same stuff including getting routed in the playoffs before coming back strong. The team just learned their identity this season. We still have Jerry Jones and no doubt he wants to win badly. I have a feeling there will be some off season picks that will put us back in contention. Oh, the possibilities. With the Superbowl in Dallas Next season and this team peaking, all signs are pointing in the right direction.
As always, this blog is for the fans. Nothing negative here. Be prepared for the Media and Cowboy Haters to talk allot of trash. We are Die Hard Cowboy Fans. You have a safe home here. It is okay to share your dissapointment, but no hate. I welcome your comments.

Passing The Torch
How fitting is it that Romo gets to play against his boyhood idol? I don't think Favre would mind passing the torch to Romo. We all hope Romo can be as good or even better than Favre when it is all said and done. Time will tell. Romo knows the importance of the game and will step up to the occasion. Romo, take the torch and run with it, you have a bright future ahead of you.
Blowout? Yes I am thinking blowout. The media is thinking it, but not saying it. The Cowboys are on a mission. They are the most focused team right now and what is different is their confidence, not arrogance. Minnesota on the other hand, just watch the interviews with Favre. You can see fear and doubt. Favre is going to panic if they get down early and will go into "urgency" throwing. That spells turnovers. Favre is also not on the same page with his coach which I feel will come back to haunt him during this game. Even if I am wrong on the blowout, Cowboys will still win because we finally have a team that can overcome adversity and has the ability to come back....With that said, I'm still thinking Blowout.
last but not least, pay attenion to what is going on in Haiti. Nothing like a little perspective to humble us. Football is the last thing on peoples mind in Haiti. Please donate. just click on the 'Button" located on the page.

Running to a 34-14 Playoff Victory! The Drought is Over!
Enjoy this Die Hard Fans. Your support and dedication has finally been rewarded and how sweet it is. Other than the penalties the cowboys showed that they are a force to be reckoned with. They continue to improve and they are now the hottest team. They will be tough to stop because this team now has confidence and they are not afraid of anyone. Romo vs. his idol Brett Favre next week. This will be fun. Tell me fans, what does this win mean for you?
Biggest Game of the Year! The "Swagger" is Back!
This by far is the biggest game of the year. Just for the fact that the Cowboys have not won a playoff game since 1996. This game will have a HUGE impact on everyone in the Cowboys organization. Simply put, we win this game and not much changes going forward into next year no matter what happens the rest of the playoffs. If the Cowboys lose they could be going back to the drawing board again and changes will be made. I think the team knows that and they like the system they are in. They will win for wade, for pride and....THE SWAGGER IS BACK!
