Happy New Year! First Post Ever for Dallas Cowboys Fan Site

I am finally doing it! No more procrastinating. I am a die hard cowboy fan. I was born into it. I read blog after blog, sports websites and opinion columns. There are allot of cowboy haters out there. No one believes in Americas Team Anymore. Even the "so called" cowboy sites have allot of negative commentary out there. Lets face it, The NFL has parity and that is why it is the most popular sport. The cowboys have an owner who is committed and will do what it takes to win. The Dallas Cowboys will get there, and it could be this year! I am not saying The Cowboys don't have flaws, but lets have a site for Fans that we can feel good about and talk about the great things that are happening. A website where a Cowboy Football player can read and feel good that there are fans that are giving 100% support. Positive Energy goes a long way..and yes I am biased! Any negative comments will probably not be posted. This is a place for Dallas Cowboys fans and players to feel good about their team....Go Cowboys!!! who will be the first to comment?

Thanks. This is a great site and I look forward to many postings. I live in the philly area and have to listen to their constant drivel. We win this game by coaching like Johnson used to and going for the kill. Play to win not to squeak one out at the end. It almost cost us in NO. Get on top and keep attacking.

I will post on this site as long as you keep the haters away. Reading stuff like trade Choice or that they will lose on Sunday is annoying at best. I have been a fan for as long as I can remember and always will. Win or Lose. GO BOYZ

I love this site also. I hate the people that are so negative. This cowboy team can beat anybody if they play well and not turn the ball over. I think the defense is the difference this year. GO COWBOYS !!!!

I love it! A fansite where I do not have to spend the entire time defending myself or my team! Whoda thunk it? I just want to say I think Romo is playing better than ever, Barber is still a good RB, Austin is proof if you give a guy with heart, motivation and talent he can excel even if he isn't from a large university (Larry Allen?) I am giving Roy Williams one more year to redeem himself. Heck, he may even shine during the playoff run. I would love to see that! The only concern I have is with Jason Garrett's play-calling. If we were to make a change in O.C. I would go for Charlie Weiss. Go Cowboys! Beat them Eagles!

The Dallas Cowboys have always been an every other decade team. The were good in the 60's but kept coming up short. They hen won 2 of 5 superbowls in the 70's. Then, the floundered most of the 80's. Next, they dominated the 90's winng 3 sb's in 4 years. Now, for most of the 2000's they haven't been so good. Can't win the big ones. Why am I stating all of this (which most of you already know)? Cause today is the last day of the oughts (00's). This game vs. Philly is the start of the next decade, which should our decade to be great agin. I say we win this game. Win the superbowl and become the team of the 2010's like we rightfully should be!

Great Site! Win,lose, tie I'm a COWBOYS FAN till I die! Let me know if you agree. Start Crayton over Williams opposite Austin. Rotate Felix and Tashard out to start the game and as soon as we get in the red zone put the Barbarian in for those "grinding out yards".First and goal put Roy Williams back in for goal line fade routes because he's tall and good for the jump ball and run no huddle "OFTEN" and "Randomly" throughout the game. I'm telling you if they did that the offense would be scoring 40 points a game.

Good stuff. I am a firm Wade Phillips supporter and would like to find a Dallas site that keeps the bad juju away. We dont need all the negativity..fire Wade, trade Romo..all that ignorant garbage. Keep this a TRUE fan site.

I still mad at last years last game. My heart says go after them like we went after the saints but mind says to play smart. I don't want romo going into Philly in January that would suck so I am gonna have to say get the win so we can play in the palace in the playoffs. Only if the stars align we could ride our new sighs throughout the playoffs who would have thunk it huh? KICK THEIR ASSES MAKE US PROUD!

I'm very excited to see Mike Jenkins man-handle Desean Jacskon again, with the defense playing at an explosive level-I look for a lot of big hits with some penalties for unecessary roughness which would be fine be me.

Cowboys momentum can't be stopped!

Born in Texas and live in South Jersey. What a tough placed to live and be a Cowboy fan. The Eagle fans and Giant fans are just about the worst out there. I make it to one game a year in the great state of Texas and when I get htere I am the prodest Cowboy fan around. I hope all Cowboy fans at the game this weekend are loud and proud Cowboy fans. We need that home field advantage against the Eagles. Be Loud, Very Very Loud. GO COWBOYS!!!

Is anybody else as pumped for this game as I am. I have this theory. When the boys play and I'm working I take the day off to watch. Everytime I do this they lose. Sunday, I'm going to work my 3-11and just record it for when I get home. One more thing to help my team win. It's so hard not to check the score but I am dedicated and won't jynx them.

I like what "dallascowboys618" said about the decades. Very Interesting.

Thank you "capper" for the posts and "Wirs" You were the first to post. Thanks to everyone who has posted. This site is all about you! I will continue to improve the site.

Maybe some of you could be future column writers?

I was born in Dallas and I have been a Cowboys fan since 1960..The reason i get hard on the Boys is because i expect perfection from them and i love them win or lose but the only bad thing i have to say about them is please don't ever let Jason Garrett become head coach...Cowboys..27..Eagles..9

I hate reading people complain about the things they dont like about the cowboys. we definately need to support our coaches and players. If we dont like em well its what weve got and we need them to produce and they need support from us so they know they are not alone. Roy im backing you up... you know the problem and I hope every week you have a great game and hope you do this week. Defense is stout Love it. Offense your getting the job done. O Line your dirty keep it up. Free you have impressed me. Jenkins I love hearing this I am good and your not gonna beat me attitude its what you need. Fans get the food and drinks out cause after we win sunday were gonna want to celebrate.

Grew up in Redskin Country (Virginia) and I had it rough supporting the Boys but I hung in there and dont regret one minute of it. I just want you to know it feels good to be able to post positive comments amongst all of the other #1 fans in the country. This is a special group of guys wearing the star this year and they have and will continue to do great things. I wish i could be among the 100,000 this sunday so they could hear my screams but if they listen close they will probably hear them anyway. Not only do I have love the team but I am loving all of you #1 fans too !!!! Keep the support coming.

The Dallas Cowboys rock!!!! Go Cowboys!!I know they'll win this Sunday!! Great new website!! Love the positive attitude!

Seems like the Cowboys are not just "pumped up" to win (they were that after all last year) but they are "pumped up" with a sort of careful intelligence this time around. Tony Romo has really taken on his role as team leader with his extra determination to win this year. And he has plenty of company on America's Team. Choice and Brooking have added some very needed "us against them" cohesion. DeMarcus Ware continues to "shine" beyond his big salary. Witten remains the Team "anchor". And Austin is the difference maker from last year to now... Go Cowboys wreck destroy the Eagles nesting privileges at the Top of the East... Next stop 2nd seed..

I watched so many locker-room interviews and there seems to be a swagger and sense of purpose with this team-Cancer-free for once!! They seem focused on the immediate task at hand and have responded very well to adversity in December...I will say Choice needs to be the featured back, Felix for the screens and BRING BACK BARBER AS THE FINISHER!!!!! His assett is his CLOSING ability when the other team is wearing down. The Eagles are getting ready to walk into a freaking nightmare Sunday-Changing of the Guard!! Go Boys!!

I feel soooooooo Gooooooood reading positive posts. It makes me feel like we can will them to a win. Positive attitudes are contagious and I can't say enough about the great attitudes in our locker room. No panic, no prima-dona, just plain and simple " we try to improve every week" Romo has a new attitude and we are lucky to have a quarterback of his caliber. Man am I pumped for this game. Go COWBOYS!!!!!!!!

Capper, Thanks for your contributions. It is greatly appreciated. This fansite proves that there are allot of fans out there that are looking for positive energy for the cowboys.

Yes, the Cowboys are an every other decade team. I noticed that as well. I started being a fan in the 80's, so we didn't get any Superbowls, but we did get into the playoffs alot. Danny White, Randy White, Tony Dorsett, Tony Hill, Drew Pearson, Ed "Too Tall" Jones, Michael Downs, Everson Walls. They will always be my team. The triplets did well and got us 3 more rings. Romo, Witten, Austin, Barber, Ware, they can get it done as well. We should be going for a threepeat this year, but the last two years were bad flukes. COWBOYS can do it this year. GO COWBOYS!!!

capper said...

To all the positive Cowboy Fans. We will prevail today. Everybody enjoy the game and think positve no matter what the score is. It's not what I want BUT, if they somehow manage to lose at least this year we'll have another game to play. GO BOYS!!!!!!!

Theres only one thing to say

HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS

That was a great win....Congratulations to the team, the coaches, the front office, and to the fans.

COWBOYS WIN!!! I wish the Cowboys were coming here to AZ where I live, but oh well. Whatever works out for the BOYZ. What a game, right from the start I think we all knew who wanted the win.

Ray Diaz /cowboysfansite said...

Great Point Ricky. It has taken allot of work from all levels of the organization.

I'm a happy camper today. Little worried about playing them 3 times and winning but we will prevail. How about all the media haters still picking the Seagles to win. I think even if we win the big game we still won't be applauded. And thats fine by me.

I agree with everyone who has commented on the obvious bias within the National Sports media (particularly ESPN and the NFL Network). It is hard (if not impossible) to understand how these groups can keep searching for ways to dis Dallas... To keep this positive, there are a few who are honest enough to give Wade and the Boys their due.. Skip Bayless, Sterling Sharp, Trent Dilfer, Brian Baldinger, and of course Michael Irvin... Too many others on the Networks seem to always under report Cowboy victories or over report Cowboy difficulties... It remains to be seen what happens after Dallas smashes the Eagles for the 3rd time Sat..More hibernation I suspect.... Go Cowboys 09

Cowboys 35 Eagles 16. Listen Cowboy Nation. This is our time. Everything is set out for us in a positive way, from being NFC East Champs to playing at home for the first playoff game. We should win this game. We will win this game. Thats what our way of thinking should be. I get more nervous as the game time gets closer. But thats because of the intensity of the game. Mr Dallas#1Fan you got a good thing going here. Keep up the good work. Oh, and by the way, if you claim to be the "#1Fan", then I guess I'm a close second...

Then I'm a very close third
